Welcome Oille.

The Age of Intelligent Skin Care has arrived.

Kirsten King

How did you begin OILLE?
I started OILLE (pronounced Oi-elle) when I was pregnant with my first daughter in 2012. I was living in NYC at the time working as a fashion and beauty photo shoot producer for Fortune 500 companies. I loved my job. But, this maternal protective instinct came over me. I began reading every ingredient on every beauty product and it shocked me. Fragrance was the biggest culprit. I then studied to become a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist to safely develop organic skincare.
What does a Clinical Aromatherapist mean?
Being an Clinical Aromatherapist means I have been certified by industry leading associations in the US such as Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), Alliance of Aromatherapists (AIA), and International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) in the therapeutic use and application of essential oils. I’ve performed clinical trails, written research papers, and taken exams on anatomy and physiology, essential oil chemistry and safety. Through all my studies, it still amazes me how skincare effects your body and mind holistically. It’s all connected much more than we think.
What does GC/MS lab tested mean?
GC/MS testing refers to a test perform by chemists to identify any unknown substance. The value in performing this test on essential oils is to scientifically prove the oil has not been diluted with synthetics or alcohol to increase scent or volume, which is common practice in the industry, and discloses valuable plant DNA. Just like humans, plants have DNA that changes each harvest. I often refer to this as plant intelligence.
Why do you chose to only use tested essential oils in your formulas?
That’s a great question! Unfortunately, most essential oils are fraudulent oils. They’re diluted with synthetics or alcohol to increase scent and volume or blended with expired, oxidised batches. You’d never know unless the oil was properly tested. It’s quite easy for companies to sell dodgy oils because for the most part they all look, smell, and feel the same. Even marketing words like “third-party verified” or “therapeutic-grade” doesn’t mean they are real or hold any scientific value.
Can anyone use your products?
Yes! They are safe, gentle formulas that will give you the results you want. Our best sellers are the anti-ageing face serums formulated with drying base oils so they won’t leave your skin feeling greasy like an olive oil would. They are lightweight, quickly drying on skin. With Frankincense, Rosewood, and Sandalwood they just smell amazing, like a relaxing spa retreat.
When I smell and feel your products they have such energy – what is that?
That high vibrational energy comes from the essential oils we use. Isn’t it magical? I remember a few times when products would jump out of my hand because they were so strong. It’s almost like holding a crystal. That power, that energy - it’s incredible.

A sensory beauty ritual.
